Kate Barnosky is the Assistant Basketball Coach for Boston University Women's Basketball.
Prior to BU, Barnosky spent five years at tufts as the assistant women's basketball coach, where the team has advanced to four straight NCAA Division 3 Final Four Championships and played in two straight National Championship Games. Outside of coaching at Tufts, Barnosky also runs weekly skills clinics through Never Too Late Basketball.
Prior to coaching, Barnosky played basketball at Tufts, graduating in 2012 with a degree in child development. She played her fifth year of eligibility in 2012-13 while beginning graduate school at Tufts, and earned her master’s degree in applied child development in 2014. Her Master's Thesis was on John Wooden's Coaching "Pyramid of Success." Barnosky was a three-year captain of the Jumbo’s team and she was an All-NESCAC and a D3hoops All-Northeast Regional selection. Off the court Barnosky was the Tufts SAAC president and a four-year F.I.T. Peer Leader. She received the W. Murray Kenney award for positive attitude and persistence during her time as a Jumbo.
