Bob Baxter

Bob currently serves on the board of the Menlo-Atherton High School Foundation for the Future as well as the advisory board for the Friends of Harvard Baseball. He spent much of his career at Silicon Valley Bank (SVB), including 9 years at SVB's Sand Hill Road office, working in Private Banking, Competitive Intelligence and Market Strategy. Prior to SVB, Bob was a professional baseball pitcher. He played 8 seasons, reaching the AAA level with the Montreal Expos, competing in big league spring training in 1996, and playing in the Dominican Republic winter league for 2 seasons. 

An active Menlo-Atherton Little League volunteer, Bob was named a PCA Double-Goal Coach Award Winner in 2014 for his work coaching.   

Bob earned an AB from Harvard College in 1990 and the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation in 2005.  He and his wife Robbie have three children, and they live in Menlo Park, CA.
