Gen joined the Portland Trail Blazers as a Social Responsibility intern after graduating from University of Oregon in 2015 with B.S. in General Social Sciences of Applied Business and Economics. Previously, Gen worked at Nike for 5 years as a Community Ambassador and Nike+ Run Club Pacer where she championed the work of creating inclusive, community-based events that drove young athletes to create a passion for sport while also focusing on elevating the Nike Community Run Club experience.

Raised on the Coast in Astoria, Gen brings a strong passion for community, sport and the positive impact it has on Youth. She is excited to join the Associate Board at Positive Coaching Alliance to further the mission and growth of better athletes, better people. Although most days you can find Gen hard at work or at a youth event, in her spare time she enjoys all things that the PNW has to offer – great people, food, sports and the outdoors!
