Rachel grew up in Phoenix and attended Chaparral High School where she was an All-State softball player. She went on to play for Dickinson College in Pennsylvania where she was starting center fielder and lead-off hitter all four years of her collegiate career.  She received All-Conference honors, served as Captain for two years, and broke several school records.   During her summers home from college, Rachel worked as an instructor for the Diamondbacks Training Centers, teaching young softball players how to master the sport.  After graduating from Dickinson with a Bachelor’s degree in English, Rachel returned home to Arizona where she started coaching and doing private instruction.  During that time, she also worked for an organization called Success4Kids running sports programs for at-risk youth.

Rachel is now an actress, a club softball coach, and a private softball instructor.
