Student Athlete Profile

Katie Cassidy plays lacrosse for Robinson High School. She loves to work as a team to accomplish goals on and off the field. The most important aspect of playing lacrosse for me is the team spirit associated with it. When girls on the team excite each other for a game, not only do they play better, but they feel better about how they play, too. I take pride in leading the team cheer during games, and cheers on the sidelines thrill me. Unity plays an important role on our team, so I assure that the younger members of the team feel welcomed by providing an approachable, friendly face both on the field and in the school hallways.”

Katie’s coach speaks to the intangible value that she brings to her team. “She’s a shining beacon of positivity on this team. If she’s not on the field, she’s on the sideline cheering on her teammates or creating chants to help get the ladies pumped up. Throughout the rigors of the season, Katie remains objective in her support of her teammate”
