Azzi was head coach of the University of San Francisco women’s basketball team from 2010-2016. In 5 of her 6 seasons as head coach, the Dons improved in the wins column. Also a decorated collegiate, national and professional player, Azzi led Stanford University to the 1990 National Championship. As a senior she garnered numerous awards, including the Wade Trophy, Naismith Award, NCAA Final Four MVP, and Pac-10 Player of the Year. She played for 13 years in the ABL and the WNBA and leads the WNBA in 3-point field-goal percentage.  Azzi was inducted in to the Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame in 2009.
