Sara Mosiman

Sara Mosiman is a strategist and business development professional with over a decade of experience in the sports industry. She is currently the Associate Director for The Sports Institute at UW Medicine, a national organization dedicated to expanding participation and safety in sports, where she oversees strategy and operations. Prior to joining the Institute, Sara was the director of business development at BTI, an international sports event-management company. In her seven years with the company she helped grow the business through sales, strategic partnerships and market expansion.

Sara holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Washington, where she captained the women’s basketball team, was three times named to the Pac-10 All-Academic Team and honored as the Seattle Times Athlete of the Year. She earned her Master of Business Administration at the UW Foster School of Business and was selected by her peers as the keynote speaker for the 2018 Foster School Graduation Ceremony. Sara was recently inducted into Delta Airline’s Ones to Watch, a program honoring innovative, inspirational and upwardly mobile leaders in key industries nationwide. Sara is a believer in humble leadership and the power of networking, and as a former athlete, is especially passionate about the mental and emotional benefits of sport and competition.
