Deb Secrest

Field Operations Manager

Deb began tenure with PCA–Minnesota in March 2013 as a 4 hour a week volunteer. It wasn’t long before she was spending 4 days a week in the office doing anything from mailings to writing partner newsletters to helping select scholarship recipients. She is a passionate supporter of the PCA mission, and in 2018, began working with all 18 chapters as Chapter Operations Specialist.

Her experience as an athletic director for two Catholic grade schools helped shape her belief that youth sports should be about the kids and it should be fun. Although Deb’s personal sports experience with sports didn’t include playing – she grew up with five competitive swimmers and spent many years in aquatic centers cheering her brothers and sisters. She does, however, coach a mean game of volleyball at the youth level.

Deb relocated to Dallas, TX in the summer of 2015 but still volunteers time to the Minnesota chapter of PCA as well the North Texas chapter of PCA. She also serves as a volunteer advocate in the Dallas CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) program which represents abused and neglected children in the courts as they await permanent placement. Deb was recently elected to the board of the Frisco Girls Lacrosse Club as their first voting “at large” member.

Deb and her husband Jon are adapting to empty-nest life in Texas as their only daughter, Kathryn graduated from Holy Family Catholic High School in 2015 and is enrolled at Northeastern University. Their Golden Retriever Dakota, along with two cats provide some comfort, as does the warm Dallas climate in January!
