PCA Postpones All Live Workshops Through April 30th

UPDATE: tuesday, March 17 | 11:00am PST

As we continue to monitor local and national guidelines on gatherings and social interactions due to the spread of COVID-19, PCA is postponing all LIVE, in-person workshops through Thursday, April 30th. We appreciate the support and patience of all PCA staff, partners and supporters during this challenging time. We look forward to continuing to share tips and tools for the youth sports community on dealing with the reality and disappointment of canceled sports seasons and separations from teams and teammates.

As an alternative to hosting live workshops, we also want to encourage the option of offering PCA online training to partners. Please reach out to your PCA representative for more details or email

PCA is continuing to closely follow the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO), the world’s foremost experts on communicable diseases, as well as health officials in the affected areas. We are also continuing to carefully monitor actions taken by the United States Olympic and Paralympic Committee (USOPC), along with NGB, professional league and youth sports partners as it pertains to canceling large events and school closings.

Please know that nothing is more important to us than the safety and well-being of our employees, chapters, trainers, coaches, athletes, and supporters.

PCA is aware that games, tournaments, meets, clinics, meetings, and other group events throughout the world are being postponed or canceled, and that those cancellations are both disappointing and necessary to prevent further spread of disease. During this sensitive time, consider working on the mental game, watching a game video, finding ways to improve online, hosting virtual team meetings, or even coming up with alternatives to the high five. While cancellations and precautionary measures continue, there are always ways to make ourselves, our teammates, and our community better, and we will continue to work alongside you in these efforts.
