Student Athlete Profile

Reid Leiter plays lacrosse and golf for Berkeley Preparatory High School. He understands the impact on his personal growth when he honors the game. “Respect for the game and players is synonymous with respect for one’s self. Anyone can be athletic but a person will only be a true athlete when they uphold the game’s most important rule: Respect.”

Reid’s teammate speaks to the leadership he brings even to an individual sport like golf. “His dedication to the sport not only gave guidance to frustrated players, but also to players that were already great and needed an extra boost. Due to his positive charisma displayed on the course, he was named captain for his senior year. Reid isn’t a boastful or talkative player, but he honors the game and is someone that everyone loves to watch. I’m so glad to have had two years with Reid as my teammate.”
